Membership Requirements
A. THEOLOGICAL:
1. All members must be able to enthusiastically sign the
three theological statements (on the website):
A.
The I.C.B.I.
Chicago
Statement on Biblical Inerrancy
B. The
I.C.B.I.
Chicago
Statement on Hermeneutics
C. The
42 Articles of the
Historic Christian Worldview
B. ECCLESIASTICAL
All members must stand as an officially, approved
representative of their denomination, organization, local church, presbytery, or
regional association. That is, all members must represent some larger, official,
Christian group and not just be a free-floating individual who enjoys discussing
theology.
C. PERSONAL HOLINESS
All members must be committed to personally living in
obedience to Christ’s commands in the Bible and be willing to mutually hold
each other accountable, according to
Matthew 18:15-17,
to live in obedience to the Bible in all areas of life. Though members are not
required to sign the COR Manifesto, they are expected to humbly and lovingly
confront each other as brothers if they see obvious sin in another members life.
This process is described by Jesus in Matthew 18:15-17 and is outlined in the COR
Manifesto.
